Matthew Martino serves as the Chief Investment Officer in Nixon Peabody’s Private Clients group and Nixon Peabody Trust Company. His primary responsibilities include leading a team of investment professionals and directing the asset allocation, security analysis/selection and portfolio management processes on behalf of the firm’s trustees and clients. Matthew has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years working with both institutional and private clients.

 

Matthew was previously employed as an Investment Advisor with PalmerDodge Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor, with approximately $1 billion in assets under management where his duties included security analysis and portfolio management for the firm’s domestic and international trust clients. He joined Nixon Peabody in November 2011 after working at PalmerDodge Advisors for 6 years.

 

Before joining PalmerDodge Advisors, he was employed at Eqyty Research & Management, a private, equity-only, institutional investment manager, as an Equity Analyst from July 2003 to November 2005. Prior to Eqyty Research & Management, Matthew worked as an Investment Associate with a Boston-based High Net Worth Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch after working in various investment-related capacities for Merrill Lynch in New York immediately after graduating from college.
